About Me

I’m learning the art of being a healthy sick person. For me, having mental illness has been like being a fish underwater, living in one reality and oblivious to any other. But in the past few years as I’ve sought out treatment, I’ve started to become more, dare I say it, self-aware.

But I’m not just a walking talking mental illness. I’m as three-dimensional as the next person. Here’s a few tidbits about me:

I move often. I don’t like healthy food. I like YouTube videos that make me cry, the kind where people get puppies for Christmas. My favorite arts are ceramics and glass blowing. I enjoy the outdoors and am big into survival-preparedness. I have poor posture. I am not a big city person. I prefer to read DC and watch Marvel with a few exceptions. The number one song on the day I was born was “We Built This City” by Starship.
